🌱 Cancellation Policy: - Late cancellations and no shows within 24 hours before your appointment will be charge a 50% cancellation fee of the appointment.

🌱 Credit cards are now required on file with booking to improve the efficiency of our patient care team. Credit card numbers can be directly added by yourself through your account. We will never have visibility of your credit card number. We appreciate your understanding and support!

In 2017, Jenny completed her Master of Nursing – Nurse Practitioner degree. Additionally, she further expanded her expertise in 2021 by earning her neuromodulator and hyaluronic acid dermal filler certification. Jenny is also committed to continuous learning, regularly attending peer-to-peer training sessions and conferences to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques.

Jenny believes in the “less is more” approach, which helps to prevent overfilling and achieve natural-looking results. Specifically, her favorite aspect of aesthetics is lower face rejuvenation, as it helps to reduce heaviness and sadness.

Melody is a compassionate and client-focused Registered Practical Nurse with over 9 years of nursing experience and more than 20 years supporting individuals and families in healthcare and wellness settings. She brings a calm, empathetic presence to every interaction and is passionate about helping clients feel heard, supported, and confident in their care.

At Thrive Wellness & Aesthetics, Melody will be the primary nurse at the Manotick location for iron infusions, wellness injections, and IV vitamin therapy, covering maternity leave for Nurse Cara from January to April 2026. She may continue in this role as an additional infusion nurse thereafter.

Her background includes extensive experience in community nursing, infusion and wound care, and women’s health education—with a special interest in menopause support and holistic wellness. She has led workshops and one-on-one education sessions to help women better understand their health, feel empowered in their care, and achieve sustainable wellness.

Recognized for her professionalism, strong communication skills, and ability to guide clients through health decisions with clarity and compassion, Melody is dedicated to creating a positive and comfortable experience for every client at Thrive.

With over ten years experience as a nurse, Cara has worked in a wide variety of specialties throughout her career including Research Nursing, Family Medicine, Complex Care, Long Term Care, and Palliative Care. She currently works part time in Neurology at The Ottawa Hospital while practicing Cosmetic Nursing and is the owner and founder of Thrive Wellness & Aesthetics.

Cara has always had a love for people and a desire to help patients achieve a better quality of life. While going on her own journey through chronic pain, burnout and fibromyalgia, she found it necessary to improve her work life balance. Thrive Wellness & Aesthetics was created out of a desire to improve overall wellbeing and quality of life, and to help bridge the gap in our current healthcare climate by offering adjunct therapies like IV vitamin infusions.

Thrive aims to bring a holistic approach into the cosmetic domain, and help individuals feel their best both inside and out.

Cara initially obtained her education at Georgian College in Barrie, ON and has since completed many continuing education courses and certifications. As the owner of Thrive Wellness & Aesthetics, Cara is licensed with the College of Nurses of Ontario and operates with a Nurse Practitioner, Jenny St. Jean as current Medical Director.
